Sue and Side Kick Peeps 

My name is Sue (Susan) Wasleske (Waz-less-key) and am the proud owner of this website.  

Over the years my husband and myself have had difficulty with people being able to pronounce our name. My son Ryan was known as Wazzy in school and my husband and myself found ourselves using it for various things to make things easier for restaurants, pick up identification, etc.

My side kick is a rescue cat that we named Pepe LePew due to the white streak down his back.  He ended up as Peeps since my granddaughter could not say Pepe and it came out as Peeps.  He has separation anxiety when we are apart, so he travels with me/us.  He and I took a Covid trip down to Texas and then onto California in my Hyundai Veloster.   (I wish I had my own bathroom in the car).  If we are lucky, we each get a pet that is a part of our soul.  His antics will show up on the website now and then so enjoy.

I have always been crafty.  I am an excellent cook which I consider a craft.  I have included a few family recipes that are tried and true.  Please leave me some feedback if you tried them.    I have also crocheted, made greeting cards, sewed many a curtain and costumes over the years. 

I absolutely love to watch YouTube for ideas and inspiration.  I was watching flow painting videos and on the next list a wire wrapping video came up and I was hooked.  I was at the local craft store the next day to get supplies.  I have since moved onto better tools, wire and stones.  I keep adding new techniques and new mediums which keeps me excited for each piece of jewelry that I create. 

This started as something just to make jewelry for myself and friends.  I finally got to the point where I thought it was good enough that others may wish to have some of my pieces.  I hope you feel the same.
